A beautiful Stockholm apartment with mid-century touches

Sometimes, when you're in need of a little interior design inspiration the best place to turn is the estate agents. Especially Swedish ones like Fantastic Frank. And that's where this beautiful home in Vasastan, Stockholm is for sale. It is oh so Scandinavian, with the beautiful light wood floors, white and pale grey hues and the stark contrast of the wooden mid-century furniture. Such a perfect balance.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments about my home dining space yesterday. Tomorrow I thought I'd show a few more snaps from another part of our open plan living space, so pop back if you get the chance!

    1. I love the prints too, I wonder where you can get them (if possible)?! I have seen a few apartments in both Stockholm and Copenhagen with a shower in the cupboard. Sometimes it's because the apartment is old and so it was originally built without a private wash room and instead had a communal one to share with the other apartments in the block!

The framed posters on the sideboard are from a photo exhibition by Vee Speers at Fotografiska museet in Stockholm. They can be bought here http://fotografiska.eu/webshop/Produkter/Affischer/(offset)/120

  5. This home is truly beautiful. The minimalist theme accentuates the floor plan. I love how the wooden floors complement with the design concept. It must be difficult for the owners of this lovely home to sell it.
